This is an exciting day. It's great for recreational use
and recreational users of the trail. But this is also an opportunity
for economic development and connecting our community. Look around at all the businesses close by. There's a hospital campus,
a church campus, a bank and a major retail center. And this is connecting things and giving people other ways to get to those places other than by their vehicle. This is just a critical link in our trail network. And the trail network is not only for bicyclists, but it's for runners,
walkers, outdoor enthusiasts, people that love to be outside and so we're just so excited
for this critical link to now get started. We're going to have that connectivity in the city. You don't have to be in the car. You can walk, you can ride, you can run. You've already seen people today
just traversing up and down this part of the trail.
It's really just going to help our community out more as we give more
and more connectivity as we continue to grow..
