GOING AND I'M DYLAN BROWN. WE'RE STARTING OFF TONIGHT WITH OFFICERS INVESTIGATING A SHOOTING AT A BELIEVING A 5 YEAR-OLD GIRL AND YOUNG MAN RECOVERING FROM GUNSHOT TONIGHT WE ARE HEARING FROM WITNESSES. THE SHOOTING HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT IN NORMAN OFF HIGHWAY 9 NEAR CLASSEN BOULEVARD. >> POLICE SAY IT STARTED BECAUSE OF A FIGHT NEWS FOUR'S OF MY AWARD TALKED WITH A PERSON WHO WAS THERE WHILE THIS WAS UNFOLDING. MAYA, IF YOU'RE DOING, I TALKED TO ONE PERSON WHO LIVES AT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. THEY TELL ME THEY ARE HOLDING ON TO ONE OF THE VICTIMS TRYING TO KEEP THEM ALIVE UNTIL HELP COULD GET THERE. >> THERE WAS NOTHING BUT BLOOD. JOIN A FULTON SAYS SHE WAS SITTING AT HOME WITH HER CHILDREN WHEN THEY HEARD GUNSHOTS. SHE THEN WENT OUTSIDE TO INVESTIGATE SOMEBODY ON THE 3RD FLOOR STARTED SCREAMING ARIZONA BRINGING TO GET UP THERE. JOANNA OVERCOME WITH SHOCK AND FEAR IMMEDIATELY RAN TO HELP. I DIDN'T KNOW THE LADY ON THE 3RD FLOOR. I'VE NEVER MEANT TO KID. I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

SHE SAYS NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARED HER FOR WHAT SHE WAS ABOUT TO SEE WAS BLOOD AS IT WAS GOING OVER. IT WAS NOTHING FOR BLOOD. AND I KNEW I WAS GOING TO SEE SOMETHING BAD. NORMAN POLICE SAY THIS WAS STARTED BY 27 YEAR-OLD DEMARCUS GREEN, ARGUING WITH THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN AT OVERLOOK APARTMENTS. A 21 YEAR-OLD MAN TRIED TO STOP ARGUMENT BUT WAS SHOT TWICE BY GREEN AND THERE'S A KID IN WORK LIKE FADING ONE OF GREEN'S BULLETS HITTING HIS 5 YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER IN THE LEG TO SHOOT YOUR OWN KID EVEN BY ACCIDENT.

I CANNOT POLICE SAY GREEN IN THE CHILD'S MOTHER TOOK THE 5 YEAR-OLD AND DROVE TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL. MEANWHILE, JOANNA IN THE MAN'S GIRLFRIEND TO CARE OF HIM UNTIL FIRST RESPONDERS COULD GET THERE. I IT WAS GOING TO DIE RIGHT JOIN US AS SHE WAS FRIENDS WITH GREEN AND NEVER EXPECTED SUCH VIOLENCE TO HAPPEN. FOUND OUT HE WAS THE SHOOTER AND IT WAS HARD. NORMAN POLICE ARE STILL INVESTIGATING.
