for hundreds of Metro families Christmas came a little early thanks to some local organizations news night's Cameron Joiner shows us how fading up barber shops partnered with the local church to make some Christmas wishes come true and tonight something good the holidays are here Merry Christmas and the Christmas lists are made Merry Christmas but sometimes checking them off can be tough the families we encounter uh that can have no Christmas without some a Good Samaritan coming along at the top of 9-year-old marel England's wish list was a brand new bike yeah and he's already got big plans ride my bike to school and come home and then ride it some more it's the gift you never forget exactly I remember also the first time I got a bicycle I was I was so overwhelmed Pastor Azor Barnes wants to bring that same joy to kids like marel so we came together and uh we're put on a bike drive his church saved by grace Ministries teamed up with fading up barber shops boys to pull off The Ultimate Christmas miracle it's going to be amazing Merry Christmas for the families who need it most and a lot of families just can't afford uh to buy bicycles for their kids and stuff so we just want to bring a little Joy to the lives of the kids Pastor Barnes wants to make sure this isn't a problem for anyone absolutely I'm a family man and I love I love people I love children hundreds of car lined up hours before the first bike was even handed out I'm the big Santa Claus today Pastor Barnes Blown Away by the impact I'm just overwhelmed with joy that we are able to do this and I know it's going to make a difference to a lot of families and for kids like marel you ready you ready it's a moment he'll never forget I can ride around everywhere is blue and it goes fast over 250 kids left today's drive with a bike in hand for for this Christmas and the organizers say it will only be bigger next year in Oklahoma City Cameron Joiner okoklahoma Z news9
