AND ONCE AGAIN TODAY IT IS A HIGH FIRE DANGER DAY, MAINLY IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA, WHERE A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON UNTIL SEVEN. IT'S THOSE COUNTIES HIGHLIGHTED IN RED ON YOUR SCREEN THAT HAVE THE HIGHEST FIRE DANGER TODAY, WITH DRY AIR AND HIGH WIND SPEEDS UP TO 40 40 MILES AN HO, THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS THAT ANY FIRES THAT DEVELOP WILL SPREAD RAPIDLY.
